BirdMIKE Quiz Cards (included in pack)

£10.00
SKU: bmqc1

Test your recognition of well known birds by their song, call or name with these BirdMIKE Quiz Cards. Novices - we guarantee that you will at least double the number of birds whose songs or calls you will recognise once you have done these cards! Feel good telling your friends with confidence that you can name birds as you hear their calls.

If you are just starting to discover the wonderful world of birds this is an ideal way of learning to recognise the most common ones. Touch the Start on each page and BirdMIKE will play a sound at random. You then have to select the appropriate specie. "Correct" announces BirdMIKE if you are right, "No, listen again," if you are wrong. BirdMIKE then plays the same sound for you to try. "It's amazing how quickly you pick up the sounds after only a few tries!"

There are three sections in the pack:

"Whose Song?" - BirdMIKE plays a song and you have a choice of 10 species to choose form on one page and another 10 on the second page. The birds are Song Thrush, Robin, Carrion Crow, Pied Wagtail, Coal Tit, House Sparrow, Starling, Jackdaw, Great Tit, Blackbird. Then on the second page - Herring Gull, Jay, Wren, Common Gull, Woodpigeon, Rook, Chaffinch, Feral Pidgeon, Blue Tit.

"Whose Calls?" - has the same birds but now BirdMIKE plays the calls at random, everytime you switch on the MIKE.

"Who am I?" is a naming game. BirdMIKE calls out the name of a specie and you have to touch the appropriate picture. There are 24 species in all, 12 on either side so that you selction options are not too large.

Each pack contains 3 double sided talking quiz cards 21x12cm.
