What Customers Say about Us

BirdMIKE is part of the TalkingPEN range of products created by Mantra Lingua Ltd in Finchley London. BirdMIKE's predecessor was our ground-breaking BirdVoice. BirdMIKE does everything BirdVoice did but adds the extra feature of recordability. Now you can record your bird sounds into the Diary or Sticky Labels or even into the talking magnets.

Below is a list of comments about our Birdwatchers' range:

"Such an amazing package, simple and ingenious" - Malcolm Tate, Editor Waterlife Magazine

"...this is clever and impressive" - Rob Hume, Editor RSPB Birds '07

"The instant access is impressive – I think this is the real strength of birdvoice. We all struggle to retain a clear impression of a sound in our mind for any length of time, so the quick reference and immediate comparisons offered by the talking pen technology are a great help. No elaborate menus on a tiny LCD screen or endless finger-tapping to locate the right CD track."

"Having been Devon's County Bird Recorder in the past I know how difficult people find bird song recognition, BirdVoice is the best way that I know to learn British bird songs and calls, it is so instantaneous and easy to move from one call or song to another. It even helped a close birding friend of mine to learn the call of Lesser Whitethroat while we were still watching the bird and then compare it to Blackcap and Garden Warbler in seconds! Geoff Sample's commentary is brilliantly concise when I find it difficult to explain some of the more subtle differences in song or call."

"My 86 year old mother thought it was amazing," - Shirley, Cheltenham

"Top quality equipment with superb presentation and clarity, we are delighted," - Bill Bristol.

What they say about our service:

"Thank you for your excellent support and service - many firms these days do not compare," - David, Leicester.

"It's been a pleasure dealing with you, I will recommend you to all my fiends," - Ian, Banbury.

"You were so helpful and understanding, such rare qualities today," - Jill, S Somerset.
