PENpal is the next generation of birding pen. Easier to use, re-chargeable and with a 4GB memory, it replaces the previous BirdMIKE and works in the same way to bring sound to paper. When the PEN touches the Field Guide or any of the BirdMIKE products it plays back the songs and calls of the various birds.
A new feature is that PENpal is preloaded with the free BirdCaller software that enables you to convert sounds from CDs onto the pen and then play when touching sticky labels. This gives you the option to bring bird sounds to any bird guide book or to the audio diary.
The PENpal comes with a lanyard and inside a silicone sleeve, to protect it against moisture while you are out birdwatching. It runs on two AAA batteries.
PENpal is included both in BirdVoice Lite and the BirdVoice Pack.
